Dat\u00e9 d&#8217;environ 380 000 ans avant le pr\u00e9sent, il a livr\u00e9 des outils lithiques de type acheul\u00e9en, ainsi que l&#8217;un des plus anciens foyers incontestables d&#8217;Europe.
